Dining at The Italian Fisherman is not like eating at any other restaurant. There are a few reasons for this. The most obvious reason is that we have no menu. As hard as it is to believe that is one thing that sets us apart. We dared to have no menu and weren’t totally sure how it was going to go over. Many people need / want a menu. Unfortunately, you won’t find one at The Italian Fisherman.
The second reason is that we have LIVE MUSIC every day. Whether someone is strumming a guitar or “tickling” the ivories, you are likely to hear classic favorites like Sinatra’s “My Way”. You may hear Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” And don’t be surprised if The Eagles “Hotel California” gets played.
Along with the LIVE MUSIC, we also have another form of entertainment that very few places can offer. One of our owners (who happens to host each seating and run the floor) performs tableside card tricks and magic. Every table gets an up-close view of mind-bending card tricks that have the whole floor scratching their heads while eating their entrees.
So you are probably starting to see how The Italian FIsherman is a bit different from “cookie-cutter” restaurants. You can go to an Applebee’s or a Chili’s and do the same routine. A very monotonous dinner that you can and probably have done a thousand times. We don’t want to be them. We want to be different, and memorable. We want you to leave saying, “Wow! I have never had a dining experience like that. What was that?”
Yes, it is true. We took the term “the experience” and we ran with it. We actually did not create it, nor did we set out to give one. It was YOU! It was our loyal patrons and fans that dubbed that term. One person used the term in a review. We took notice. It was a great term as it was so accurate. Then another and another. People just kept using that term, “the experience”.
And that is how it came to be. We provide an amazing dining experience, and you gave it a namesake. A perfect marriage. A perfect blend. A special thank you goes out to whoever that first person was that used that term. We sincerely appreciate your thoughts.
