We heard there is no menu. How is this possible?

A: Yes, there is NO MENU! Our chef plates family-style JUMBO portions for your party. We feed you until the button on your pants pops off. Four courses with tons of food. So much food, you will have food to take home. No matter the party size, you will taste a minimum of 12 different cuisines from your apps to dessert.

 

We heard it is all seafood, is it?

A: Dinner will be a combination of both non-seafood and seafood. But it is a 70 / 30 split non-seafood. Many more NON-SEAFOOD options.

 

Can vegetarians and pescatarians eat here?

A: Yes! Both can eat here. While not ALL of our choices fit here, there are plenty of choices that are. However, if you are a VEGAN, we ask you to kindly stay home, as this is not for you. Because we serve family-style dishes for the whole floor, it is hard to accommodate too many dietary restrictions. We apologize if this makes it hard to attend.

 

What about gluten? We are gluten-free. Can we eat here?

A: If you are gluten-free YOU CAN eat at the restaurant. However, your choices are going to be different then from what everybody else will be eating, and you will not receive as many options. But you will receive the same quantity.

 

Is this food AUTHENTIC ITALIAN?

A: No, it is not. It is delicious. You get large portions. You will try many different foods and tastes. But we are not in Tuscany. We are in Brevard County, Florida. There are no claims to being authentic. But we will stand by freshness, quality, and taste.

What days are you open? What time do you open and close?

A: During season, we are open Thursday through Sunday. For the upcoming season, that will be from November 15th to May 18th 2025. We don’t necessarily have an open and close. We have TWO seatings on the days we are open. The first seating is 4:30pm and the second is 6:45pm. Please keep in mind that on Sunday the times are earlier. We seat at 3pm and 5:30pm.

If the season is cranking and moving (and we expect it to), we will open on Wednesdays as well.

 

Are you guys open in the Summer? 

A: Yes! We were open for select days only. We called it our 36 Days of Summer. Those select days took place in June, July, August, September and October. Those days, were on our reservations page on the website, as well as the days being posted on Facebook. The post is called “36 Days of Summer”.

 

What holidays are you open for? Are there any holidays you are closed?

A: Holidays we are OPEN….Easter, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day. We are also open Thanksgiving eve AND on Thanksgiving. We will be OPEN on Christmas Eve, but CLOSED on Christmas Day. We will also be open for a New Year’s Eve Party. There will be an early-bird party and a party later in the evening lasting to the “ball drop”.

 

Do we need reservations?

A: YES…you need to make a reservation to guarantee your seating. We do take walk-ins, but many get turned away due to lack of available seats. Reservations for all sizes are accepted. One-person parties will be placed at our bar instead of a table. We now have so many two-top tables, that two-top parties are more than welcome. You don’t have to sit at the bar any longer.

 

How do we make the reservations?

A: For guaranteed reservations, use this website (www.theitalianfishermangrantfl.com). Click the MAKE A RESERVATION button on the Home Page and it will take you to the tickets page.

There are times that you can text the restaurant at 321.895.6283 to make a reservation. But we are not always on the phone, and we may direct you to the site. The site is the best way to “lock-in” your seats.

 

Is there a cancelation policy if we make reservations?

A: ALL SALES FINAL! No refunds on tickets purchased. If canceling a reservation, all reservation cancelations must be within 48 hours of your seating. If canceled within the 48 hour time-frame, your ticket is good for any future seating (as long as that seat is available). Holidays and weekends are included. If canceled after the 48 hour time frame, ticket is no longer valid.

 

Do all children need to pay? How much are children’s tickets?

A: We do not charge for all children. Any child that uses a baby-seat is no charge. We don’t charge based on age as much as a seat on the floor being taken (as we have limited seating). That being said, we charge based on how many children in the party.

Do you sell gift cards to the restaurant?

A: YES! We sell gift cards in any denomination. You can come down to the restaurant to purchase a gift card, or call us at 321.895.6283 to arrange one. We will mail them if you need. We can also do an E-Card as well.

 

Is this a full bar? Do you serve liquor?

A: There is no liquor in this restaurant. We serve beer, wine, sangria and seltzers.

 

Can we bring our own bottle of wine during our dinner? Is that allowed?

A: YES! You can bring your own bottle of wine. There is a corking fee of $22 per bottle.

 

We are celebrating a birthday at the restaurant. Can we bring our own cake, or do you provide a cake?

A: YES! You can bring your own cake if you wish. However, we do serve fun desserts, so we have that as well for your celebration. Please inform us that you have a birthday and we will make it very special.

 

Is The Italian Fisherman available for rent? Can we rent it out for a party?

A: YES! You can rent the entire Italian Fisherman “experience” out for any occasion you need it for. Just call us @ 321.895.6283 to discuss prices and details. Christmas parties are a specialty. Our sister restaurant, THE BACK YARD is also available.

 

Does The Italian Fisherman take cash and credit cards?

A: YES! We take credit cards as well as cash. We do offer a cash discount if you choose to pay that way. If using card, the credit card and processing fees are charged as well.

 

What is included in the price of the ticket?

A: Your ticket which is good for one seating, pays for your food, but not your drinks. For season II, we created tickets that include gratuity, tax, and the credit card processing fees along with your food. This makes it a lot easier, and both sides are happy.

 

We heard there is LIVE entertainment. Is that true?

A: YES! We actually do have LIVE MUSIC  every day. Not only do we have live music, but we also have tableside magic and card tricks being done by the host / owner.  Keep in mind, this place is about energy, and having fun. But, most of all, just sit back and enjoy. Relax not knowing what’s coming out next. It’s OK. Just have “the experience”.
